Just over 70 minutes from Melbourne and only 20 minutes from Geelong, the Great Ocean Road starts, officially from Torquay and winds along the Surf Coast to Lorne and beyond.



Scenic Surf Coast
As you head down the Surf Coast Highway Torquay beckons, your first scenic coast experience.

Travelling past Jan Juc, Bells Beach and Point Addis - Anglesea awaits you. From here the ocean is constantly in view travelling on the Great Ocean Road past Point Roadknight to Aireys Inlet , Fairhaven, Eastern View and Lorne.



Country Delights
There are many country delights to experience in the Surf Coast hinterland. Head inland to experience the beautiful waterfalls around the Surf Coast.

Inland towns such as Winchelsea offer sweeping rural views to the coastline; Freshwater Creek, Modewarre, Wurdiboluc and Wensleydale offer idyllic rural settings; Bambra, Deansmarsh and Pennyroyal offer rich bush settings and some fresh local fare.
